Exploring the Subconscious Mind - WSLT#1

I am re-reading "The Power of Your subconscious mind" (Have completed quarter of the book). When I read through the initial chapters and deep dive into the powers of subconscious mind and what exactly is subconscious mind, it is stunning to know, without the knowledge of it, how various people used the power of nature to their own good.

A strong will or belief can change your world, if this is true, then how? This was the first question, I had when I encountered the concept of subconscious mind. For so many people, the terms and concept may be new but for me, as an Indian, I had encountered similar concepts and philosophies.

So when I read about the subconscious mind in silva method or Think and grow rich or even in the power of your subconscious mind, I could connect with those ideas and form a mindset around them.

As an example, When I read that whatever your current situation is, whether good or bad, I can resonate with it an old Tamil poem or popular saying "Theethum nandrum pirar thara vara" which simply means, Either good or bad, all because of you, not because of others.

When I read about how the thoughts formed as material things, there are stories about the world creation concept of how sound produced the materialistic world in Hinduism scriptures. Even Christianity and Islam states similar things that upon the command of god, the world came into picture.

I dont want to advocate for any religion which is true and which is not, but in common, all religions have similar thought process. Instead of logically thinking about them, what if they are also the words of people who realized the power of subconscious mind and applied it in their life for success?

They might have led the religions in various time since their thought process were similar which leads to another thought, that all subconscious minds are interlinked. It may be a powerful conclusion but so many rooms to explore.

If we are going to explore more about subconscious mind, then without knowing its basic functionality, we shouldn't go further. In short, the subconscious mind is submissive, it simply takes orders and executes them, but conscious mind is the one which does the analytics to understand and reason.

As an example, If you take a military platoon, the commander should give orders, right or wrong, the soldiers should execute it. The order may be self destructive or help them win a battle, but soldiers should obey the orders.

Here, soldiers may have their own mind and thinking. But if you take it as an example, the soldiers are subconscious mind and the command is your conscious mind. Conscious mind set a belief and subconscious mind make it happen.

Its as simple as "As  you sow, so you reap". If the conscious mind belittle oneself, the subconscious mind follows, if conscious mind sow fear, subconscious mind manifests that fear into reality. But if you sow good and constructive thoughts, your subconscious mind brings more good in your life.

There is another saying in India and probably may all around the world, that think good and the good follows in your life. In elaborated terms, your life is based on your thoughts and make them as constructive and good. These proverbs and philosophies again prove the point that the thought process in all around the world were similar and people gave much importance to what one should think.

In essence what I leant today actually strengthen my beliefs on subconscious mind's powers and limitations. It also gave me some thoughts  to connect my previous beliefs.

So WSLT #1 ends here. I hope you did like this post and share your thoughts on the same.
